I’m just getting started with Reticulum; here’s what I’ve done so far get…wherever it is I am with it all.
I successfully have a desktop client communicating out and in. I started with a Docker version of MeshChatX but decided to install the Debian package to the desktop.
I have Sideband installed on Android but while I can see nodes announcing themselves, I haven’t yet completed a back-and-forth test with contacts yet. I might spin the Docker version up with a new identity just to see if they can communicate with one another if I have imported my desktop key successfully.
Configure Interfaces
What worked well for me so far: go to Reticulum Interface Directory, click “Random”, click “Copy Selected” and paste at the end of your config. Reload your client.
You should start seeing your chosen nodes announce themselves and, then, more and more appearing over time.
