Pandoc

Pandoc is a ‘markup format converter’, something to convert documents from one format to another. In generating this site, I use it to convert from Markdown to HTML but since it can output PDF, Powerpoint and more, I built that in, too. If a source page wants PDF output (for class handouts), it can do that. If a source page is formatted for slides, it can output a Powerpoint file and display the slides in a simple browser-based slider, too.

Check out Obsidian slide output for an example of outputting alternate formats. Check the left navbar (or up top on mobile); there should be a “Formats” title with a couple of icons (a camera film roll and a bar chart) like these:
